I think the best example of graphics and games in Perl is still Frozen
Bubble; see http://www.frozen-bubble.org/
I'm not sure about your requirements, but I take it what you're
looking for would be very possible using Perl.

The current maintainer of the Frozen Bubble game has written a manual
about writing games in Perl that might be of interest to you:
