Hi Sayamindu,

Hope you are well. I am very much astonished by your comments.

Just I am asking you, if anybody tells you just translate my  work without giving you any credit for that job will you do that voluntarily ?

In the case of l10n work the same thing happens, when I have tried to registered myself for bengal;i translation, I came to know that somebody has already been registered for it, so why will I try to devote myself in the same job, when anyother volunteer is doing the same ?

Again when that volunteer asked me to translate some of the portion, I think you have read all of my comment, I have already told that in the meanwhile I have changed my email-id, PC, domain everything, i.e., I have not received his sent mail, when I came to know about the request for translation, I again mail to Runa to resend it again, but I have not received it. That's the total fact.

Now just see, how you are flaming the simple issue, to a bashing. When I have told that Runa/Sankarshan is RedHat GUI, they are paying for translation work ? Have I told it anytime ? When I have told thal I am volunteer, they are paid for it ? Not a sinle time, I think you got an issue to tell your own thinking by putting a gun on my shouldier, is it ?

I wanted to devote myself for some volunteer job with a team containing you, but I am very sorry to say, you people like legpooling, not the actual developmental work. I don't like this type of stuation for any Free, Open Source work where Free and Open Source work means getting OWN POPULARITY FREE, OPEN TO ALL.

I have never told you anything about l10n personally, go to hail l10n work, whatever you want to comment comment publicly .

PLEASE DON'T DISTURB ME BY SENDING THESE PERSONAL MESSAGE.

Sumit

WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN ??
Runa has been one of most active contributors to Ankur - both as a
Redhat employee and as even prior to that. On the other hand, show me a
single contribution that you have made to the Bengali l10n project.
I do not know about others, but I think we should all be grateful to
Redhat for *paying* one of our volunteers to do translation work.
Please stop bashing Redhat, and this "you Redhat, me volunteer" must
stop immediately.
