In my (biased) opinion Mandriva (aka Mandrake)!! If you are willing (and wont mind!) to setup multimedia stuffs by your own then I would recommend (K)ubuntu! In any case you can use Bengali interface along with English. You haven't mentioned whether you use dialup or broadband connection.
