No, basic hardware/oS info works at the SNMP and WMI level and shouldn't need
anything special in regards to Blackberry.mib's. Ask whoever handles hardware
monitoring to send you reports on resource usage, they may need you to set up
the SNMP service to forward traps.

I believe they use NetIQ but not sure how to set it all up. I was reading the
manual today on SNMP and traps, etc. I think I need to provide them the
Blackberry MIB, correct?

Do you have any network monitoring software that can poll windows (Via SNMP,
etc) for memory useage, CPU usage, etc?

That is what we plan to do for most of our servers once we get our net
monitoring up and running.

Hi Everyone,

I am running BES 4.1.6 for Exchange. Can anyone tell me the best way to monitor
the performance of the server to see if we need to upgrade the hardware.

Thanks very much
