I was first noticing this with my phone/calendar. Having experienced this twice before, I prematurely concluded that it was a mapi32/cdo version problem.
I didn't want to stop the server to sync up the versions last night, and figured I'd do it today. When none of my users complained, I figured it may just be a problem with my phone. I did an rset on my calendar, and pushed the service books back out and that seems to have solved the problem. Thanks to all who offered help, especially the person who said that minor version differences shouldn't cause the problem. As the version difference was at least 5 decimal points in, I tried the above, which worked.
