Hi Ben,

No, I don't think so.
The Exchange 2003 server is standard version so only 1 store.
All of the mailboxes have not been touched/moved since the migration from
Exchange 2000. The migration occurred before the BES server was installed.

Is there any tool which can be used to see if a blackberry device is not
responding or unreachable from the BES server? Something like a ping tool that
can run constantly during the day?

Thanks,
Harold

Hi Harold,

Does this situation correlate with a mailbox move of the user(s) who experience
the mail delivery issues to their device? If so, take a look at this KB:

Subject: [Bes-admins] Help with troubleshooting a problem

I have BES 4.1.x (MS Exchange 2003 on different server) and occasionally a
Blackberry will stop getting new messages. Rebooting the phone does not help.
Either I have to restart the Blackberry server or the Dispatcher service.
I used the MessageFlow tool and can see what looks like attempted sending (they
don’t get the to phone) then I will see a delivered message.

How should I go about trying to find the cause of this? Or is this common a
problem?

All help is appreciated

Thanks,
Harold
