Another thought - what if it had been set to 3, then changed to 5. would setting the max to 3 have forced the current limit to 3, then upping the max to 5 not changed anything but allowed the users to manually increase to 5.

On BB Tours, Curves, and Pearl devices for example on when unlocking the users are getting only 3 password attempts on the BES its set to 5 password attempts to all devices. Is it cause of BB OS's installed on the devices is it my BES? I am running BES 4.1.6 with Exchange 2007 Weird???
