I always used the Blackberry Manager with my besadmin account, but when
we went to 5.0, I got the same issue logging into BAS. The workaround
that did work was setting the account to use DES encryption in AD.

One 'gotcha' that I had with Exchange 2007 was the Forest Level. I
could not authenticate against the Active Directory to log into the
Admin Console until I made the forest level native Windows 2008. If you
have an account setup in the Admin Console that you can still log in
with, it's not really a concern. I now just log in with an admin
account instead of the Active Directory BESAdmin account.

Guys, Can anyone tell me if the migration to Exchange 2007 will in any
way affect my 4.1.6 BES server installations? Are there any changes that
need to be made to keep these operational, beyond CDO and DLL upgrades.
Or do we require users to all be on 5.0 to be compatible?

Also can anyone recommend a group similar to this one for questions
pertaining to OMA (Active Synch on Exchange).

My messaging group is planning on beginning to migrate to Exchange 2007
in the middle of this year and I need to start preparing.

Thanks
