The workaround that did work was setting the account to use DES encryption in AD. ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Moller, Doreen Sent: Thursday, April 29, 2010 4:44 PM To: A list for BES Admin's to discuss issues, etc. Subject: Re: [Bes-admins] Exchange 2007 and BES ok thanks, I didn't know this. ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Brett Kreykes Sent: Thursday, April 29, 2010 02:12 PM To: A list for BES Admin's to discuss issues, etc. Subject: Re: [Bes-admins] Exchange 2007 and BES One 'gotcha' that I had with Exchange 2007 was the Forest Level. I could not authenticate against the Active Directory to log into the Admin Console until I made the forest level native Windows 2008. If you have an account setup in the Admin Console that you can still log in with, it's not really a concern. I now just log in with an admin account instead of the Active Directory BESAdmin account. Are there any changes that need to be made to keep these operational, beyond CDO and DLL upgrades. Or do we require users to all be on 5.0 to be compatible? Also can anyone recommend a group similar to this one for questions pertaining to OMA (Active Synch on Exchange). My messaging group is planning on beginning to migrate to Exchange 2007 in the middle of this year and I need to start preparing.
