Doreen, you will need to update BES service configuration to point to the new
home server for BESAdmin account.

I did nothing. I moved a mailbox to 2007 and the Blackberry continued to work.
I kid you not.

However, since you mentioned OMA, it would be remiss of me not to say that OMA
does not exist in Exchange 2007. Activesync does
exist, of cours, but you should use them in the same breath as they're totally
separate beasts.

Subject: [Bes-admins] Exchange 2007 and BES

Guys, Can anyone tell me if the migration to Exchange 2007 will in any way
affect my 4.1.6 BES server installations? Are there
any changes that need to be made to keep these operational, beyond CDO and DLL
upgrades. Or do we require users to all be on 5.0
to be compatible?
Also can anyone recommend a group similar to this one for questions pertaining
to OMA (Active Synch on Exchange).
My messaging group is planning on beginning to migrate to Exchange 2007 in the
middle of this year and I need to start
preparing.
Thanks

Doreen Moller
