Dumb question, but had this happen multiple times. Is folder redirection 
enabled for Inbox for the user? I had a device get this setting "unset" several 
times and the user stopped getting email completely. Can the user send email 
and browse the web from the phone?

While you can do it without wipe, it can cause headaches at times, more 
problems than it solves. The proper way is always do a security wipe first. 
Most of the critical data, like PIM, bookmarks, etc. is backed up by BES 
anyways. Before wipe, of course ensure there is no documents or other data 
saved on the device, back them up first.

I sent a test msg with the <confirm> and got back notification message was 
delivered to the device, yet the user never received it. Any ideas?
