The encryption key would conflict, which is why a device needs to be wiped
before moving to another BES. I am talking about in a similar manner to how a
policy is removed using BBSAK for example, to reverse this to apply a policy.
We are able to export the policy, the question is how to apply it.

It would seem worth trying to activate on your BES before moving them to the
hosted service.

Subject: [Bes-admins] Interesting policy question

We have some users in a hosted environment. Usually all the questions are about
removing policies from devices. In this case the host can't do a custom policy.
We have customized policies in place on our internal BES, is there a way to put
one of these policies on the hosted devices without impacting the encryption?
Also, the host does not send out the default policy after the device is
activated so we are not concerned about that overwriting our improved policy.
Any ideas are welcome.
