I am not sure if this is the best solution. 1. Mails: bes does not push old mails if the same bb device(pin) is activating on the same account. So did he maybe tried to ea, stopped/ canceled it in the middle, wiped the bb and activated again?
1a: does he have mails in inbox and sent that can be pushed? If everything is filed the data will not show on bb, untl the redirection is set. 2. Every ea pushes some old(1,5 month) and all new. I would sent a wipe command to his bb(to remove the pin/device from the account), and then activate it again.
