Hello all,
We have about 150 users in Exchange/BES environment. About 130 of those devices are not Corporate owned. When an individual gets an OTA update (Options - Advanced Options - Wireless Update) our BES is blocking the ability to do this. Works great for those Corporate owned folks, however those devices that are owned by the individual, I seem to be visiting a lot because they want / need the latest update, or they are just bothered of seeing the desktop icon that says update available. With this said, I know that my options could be to allow the updating of personal devices, however how would you do this? Users would have different platforms making troubleshooting a pain. Is there a way to completely hide the icon (by policy) that appears on the BBs desktop and also suppress the Wireless Update portion as mentioned above? Thanks in advance...
