Hi All, I have installed BES Express and now having trouble with activation. Port 3101 on the firewall is open to BES server.
When I use the BES Admin to generate and email a password , then logon and check the test accouns email, there was no EPD.DAT file however the auto-generated password did come thru. I did a quick activation test from Blackberry Expert Support Center and did in fact receive confirmation email with the EPD.DAT file so I imagine ports are open and working. I did notice that the Blackberry SyncService was initially not running as set to manual , I have changed this to automatic & started the service. I have checked the logs and found 2 potential errors : could not be delivered to PIM Connector - from MAGT logfile Packet to external service has expired - from DISP_01 logfile Any ideas ? Also any other log files and potential key words i could search for errors to help me identify why I cannot activate the blackberry device. Much appreciate feedback - thanks all in advance ! Yasar
