My understanding is that Good uses encryption from the device back to the Good NOC and then back to our enterprise. Nice, containerized application for the iPhone. So deleting a device isn't actually deleting the phone, it only deletes the application. Utilizes iPhones native Apple Push Notification Service (APNS). I like the security on it. There are some third party companies that say they can support iPhones with the same level of care as BES but I have yet to actually get one to work. We purchased a solution but it was very difficult to install and we still don't have the results we were promised.
