Hi, Am having one devil of a time setting up SQL mirroring & tho it appears I shd be appealing to the SQL forum, I figure maybe someone has run into the same issue before.
Primary/Standby BES/BAS setup. During installation of 5.03 besmgmt db was created on our SQL 2k5 SP3 box successfully. I followed the instructions & stopped BES svces, backed up SQL db/log files, then went to the standby SQL box & restored both successfully (restore & not pre-creating a besmgmt db manually on the standby SQL box). However the standby sql shows besmgmt as "BESMgmt (In Recovery)" and when I pull up the db property, I get Cannot show requested dialog (SqlMgmt) An exception occurred while executing a Transacgt-SQL statement or batch. Database 'Besmgmt' cannot be opened. It is in the middle of a restore (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 927). I've done this a few times & still encounter the same. Any ideas? TIA
