One thing to keep in mind, if you weren't already aware, is that Mobile Fusion + the Universal Device Service only provide Mobile Device Management (MDM) features. You still rely on Exchange ActiveSync for the actual PIM sync and transport.
My understanding with the BlackBerry Device Service (for PlayBook) is that it also relies on Exchange ActiveSync.
