Thanks - that seems to work. I now see some of the recent changes. The pacman menu item is there but pacman itself does not come up. I installed the qt binaries in an existing j7 tree - probably not a good idea. pacman is there as I use from jhs.
Is the gui qt pacman functional now with a proper install?
