My earlier message might be misleading, but perhaps with some
justification 'cos I'm confused:
I see that JVERSION shows Qt IDE: 1.0.3 , which I _had_ reported earlier,
while package manager shows
ide/qt 1.0.77 1.0.77 Qt IDE
(I thought I'd seen 1.0.78 reported as an update under Package Manager
earlier today, but seem to have been wrong.)
Anyway, I imagine Chris means 1.0.3 will be superseded, but perhaps
he's referring to pacmans's 1.0.77 - I don't know....
Do we need to do install 'qtide' within jconsole for every pacman update
or only for Qt IDE release reported by JVERSION?
Clarification would be welcome for some of us
Meanwhile, sorry for _my_ misdirection in the following

Thanks, Chris. Which release will that be? I'm running QtIDE
1.0.77, about to load 1.0.28
Perhaps we should all report which release we're on when commenting.
Sorry I didn't do so earlier.

In next release:
0) behaves like J6
1) ditto
1a) Yes
2) there is a new config entry: FontWeight (normal or bold)
6) this needs to be done in conjunction with syntax highlighting. Help
would be appreciated on both.
7) ConfirmClose, ConfirmSave and EscClose should work. Please test as
it is
hard to get these right.

3) I saw the same annoyance.

5) gui debug not yet implemented but I think it is essential
