I am also seeing a bug. I am still working with it, but it looks like
line editing in jqt has something strange happening.

For example. if I type in this line:
   (}:i.-5)
it behaves normally.

However, if I copy the line using enter and remove the }: and try to
execute it, I do not get a  normal result. Instead, the result is
placed at my cursor location within that line:
   (4 3 2 1 0i.-5)

Frustrating... anyways:
