Is it my imagination, or have the last two windows betas crashed unusually often? (Crash in the sense of Windows having to close the program). And assuming that there is a potential problem here, is there anything one can do to assist in diagnosing it? I've been answering No to the question about sending a report to Microsoft; and it doesn't look like the Debug option in the crash-dialog helps (or does it?).
In my case, most of the crashes were not (as far as I can tell) repeatable. Some occurred when I was in a function which got input from the keyboard and converted it to numbers using _999 ". . But on restarting, and using what I hope was the same response, the problem did not recur.
One that was repeatable was when I passed a badly constructed pattern to the rxE verb. I concede that that was in a sense my fault, but it would be nice if J could respond a little more nicely, and not result in one's losing all one's work.
