The win32 version installed fine with no problems on my XP SP2 machine. I installed to "C:\Program Files\j602"
I understand that is not the recommended location, and I understand the desirability of being able to install to a user's home directory so Administrator permissions are not required, but I think it should also be at least possible to install programs to the "correct" program location, so I will volunteer to test that! A couple of things so far: When I open any scripts under the ~system/extras directory branch e.g. open '~system/extras/util/pacman.ijs' It appears in the Recent Scripts form as having the path ~.home\util\pacman.ijs jpath '~.home/util/pacman.ijs' C:\Documents and Settings\util\pacman.ijs Opening scripts in other branches report the correct path in Recent Scripts form. When I run Package Manager it asks if I want to setup the repository using Internet connection now. If I reply Yes, then I get the following error: "Connection failed: 'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." I suspect this is an issue with calling the tools wget or unzip with spaces in the path. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
