OK - I apologize that when I didn't see the old/familiar
"install.txt" file, I just winged the installation -
clearly I need(ed) to RTFM...
Suggestion - perhaps a link to Release Highlights and
J602 Install would be a good thing on the
beta.htm page.
In my first scan of the documentation (blush) I noticed
that protocol is misspelled (twice) in the section -
"Engine Protocal - Decomitted".
BTW - thanks for all the good work that is apparent here!

Short answer is that J602 JFE finds the J directory that contains
the JFE and then requires everything to be there (JFE, JE,
profile.ijs, etc).
Hardlinks to the JFE are not supported and symlinks to the JFE must
be absolute paths.
