Last week Kip Murray suggested an Integrated User Environment. It reminded me of some experiments I did a few months ago based on changing the jijs locale so as to provide a second interactive J window where tacit expressions could be analysed. Running the script opens a second ijx window. The idea is that a user copies an expression from the main ijx window into this secondary window. In this way parts of a tacit expression can be changed or studied on their own.
