Ric - Yes, I'm somehow loading "dir". In fact, I've been experimenting with what I need to do to start up my usual environment so I've been loading my config and startup scripts and trying to fix any failures between environments.
This mostly consists of tinkering with the globals USERFOLDERS, SYSTEMFOLDERS, and PUBLIC, all from the "j" locale. I'm also resolving Windows/Linux differences. For instance, I just noticed I'm creating a file named "C:\Temp\Startup.tmp" in Linux - which is a valid _file_ name - not a directory path and file as in Windows - so I need to remember why I do this and figure if it needs to be compatible across environments. I'm interested in doing this because it's great to be able to run exactly the same code cross-platform and I've been using a Linux machine at work. Thanks for the hint on where the new "dir" might be coming from. Devon On Wed, Jan 6, 2010 at 11:00 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > ... > 3.
