I uploaded the latest beta to my Ubuntu 10.04 32 bit. I loaded the "jhs" and was able to access the site using http://localhost:50000/jijx For some reason, I can't access it using its real ip address on the same machine. Of course, this would be true when accessing it over the network. Any ideas?
Would it be possible to get the JUM code? I would like to implement it on my server. Allowing users to have their own session of J is a cool idea. :) @Eric, I know your busy with the beta ... but I would just like to nudge you regarding the Unicode support for getb() and setb() functions. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Eric Iverson Sent: Sunday, April 18, 2010 5:37 AM To: Beta forum Subject: Re: [Jbeta] new 701 beta available What happens depends. If I just upload the new files nothing will happen to your running task. I will have to kill and restart the JUM task so it is current and will properly start new tasks with the new version. However, this time I will likely kill all the old tasks to force a move to the new version. The point of the beta (at least early beta) is to get users to use the new stuff. I will probably do this Sunday morning. The differences will be obvious. The new jhelp page has about info. VERSION_jfe_ is the JHS version.
