Oh, I forgot to mention that my Ubuntu server is an LAMPP+SVN+GIT server so we can connect to it locally and through the web. It's just weird that it can't access through port 50000 and 50001.

If I just upload the new files nothing will happen to your running task. I will have to kill and restart the JUM task so it is current and will properly start new tasks with the new version. However, this time I will likely kill all the old tasks to force a move to the new version. The point of the beta (at least early beta) is to get users to use the new stuff. I will probably do this Sunday morning. The differences will be obvious. The new jhelp page has about info. VERSION_jfe_ is the JHS version.
