You're right, this isn't specific to scrolling past the bottom of the 
terminal window.  The error message occurs immediately upon j7.sh 
invocation and repeats with every input/output.  This is 32 bit Fedora 
11 that started out as Fedora 10 and upgraded in place so it may not be 
worth chasing at this point.
