Short answer is no. This is beta and the final J7 release will be different in some significant ways. Right now there are 2 separate beta streams: JHS and GTK. These need to be merged together and doing that will result in some significant changes. If the current chaos is too much, it might be better to wait a bit.
The big differences between the JHS and GTK streams: 1. JHS is packaged similar to J602 and the way the final J7 release will be packaged. 2. GTK is packaged as zip files and has some hardwired install assumptions 3. JHS has essentially j602 libraries with just the new JHS stuff tacked on 4. GTK has new library organization/project-manager/jal There will probably be at least 1 more cycle with releases in the 2 streams before they are merged.
