I was actually assuming that this can be done. With one session, users can 
connect to it using different GUI FE. Actually a lot of us are doing it right 
now by making our own J Session Server. 

What I am looking forward to is the changes with application interfaces. For a 
few years now, I've been working around the limitations of COM/OLE interfacing 
with .NET, particularly with the really serious issue of UTF8 character support 
in getb() and setb() methods (this actually bit me again with a production 
system installed in a factory in China).

Still, I feel that the J Software team is in the right track with the 
modularization of the GUI and the engine.

I hope the system goes out of beta soon. :)
