Hi Devon, Can you please describe the context from which you executed the viewmat command?
E.g. * Windows XP (32-bit) * Using jconsole (or Gtk IDE or JHS) * Downloaded beta from jwiki Gtk IDE page * which packages have been installed/upgraded from JAL The following should work: * delete (or rename) your current j7 folder * re-extract the latest zip (about a week old) from the beta wiki page, http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/System/Beta/Gtk IDE * start the Gtk IDE using the shortcut in j7w * In the Term window execute the following sentences: load 'pacman' 'update' jpkg '' 'upgrade' jpkg '' 'install' jpkg {."1 'shownotinstalled' jpkg '' load 'viewmat' viewmat 7|i. 10 10 However once the current problem with the base library package on JAL is sorted, then it will probably be better (more helpful to the beta testing process) to use: load 'pacman' 'install' jpkg 'all' load 'viewmat' viewmat 7|i. 10 10 > From: Devon McCormick > Sent: Tuesday, 8 June 2010 01:53 > > Based on the messages I've been seeing here, I decided to try J7.01 > differently by using "pacman" to install the addons instead of copying > them > from J6.02 as I had done.
