Ah, I can wait a bit. After all, the point of beta tests is not
that testers coax their systems to work with pre-releases but that
you can adapt the release to the real systems "out there", correct?
If anything, my meantime workaround would be simply to nuke the
bogus "--retry" in pacman.ijs.
I have 10.5.4 DVDs waiting on the shelf here in order to replace
old IPv6 bugs with newer ones. I just postponed that update a bit
because you asked for 10.3.9 reports. In two weeks, latest, I'll
have to do the update. There's absolutely no way to delay it beyond
that.
