In my previous response to the message below, I forgot to note that in Mathematica one can also directly invoke the standard Google Charts URL format in an Import. For example,
Import["http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?chs=250x100&chd=t:60,40&cht=p3&chl=Hello|World"] This has the disadvantage, of course, of requiring a syntax somewhat unlike the corresponding J syntax. It has the advantage over the J approach (at least right now, so far as I can see) of using the Google Charts syntax, which is fully documented at the Google Charts site. Of course I would seldom want to use Mathematica like that, since it already has lots of built in charting types.
