Thank you Eric for the quick reply.

The problem seems to be that with the Finnish keyboard you have to
access the / key by pressing shift+7 so ctrl+/ becomes shift+ctrl+7 and
it won't work. However, I can switch between Finnish and US keyboard
layouts with alt+left_shift and get around the problem.

Perhaps the shortcut code could recognize the ASCII value of the
character / (0x2F) instead of the key combination that produces it?

Sorry about not being more specific about the ijx windows refresh issue.
I would like to achieve the current behavior of J602 where you execute
code in an ijs window and the result shows immediately in the ijx window
that is visible at the same time. Currently I have to refresh a separate
browser ijx window manually. If I go to the ijx window from "link" it
doesn't need refreshing but it would really be nice to be able to have
the ijs and (auto-refreshed) ijx window visible simultaneously.

Subject: Re: [Jbeta] shortcuts with non-US keyboard and ijx auto refresh

The keyboard shortcut scheme has changed with each release.

The current scheme is that ctrl+/ enters an escape mode and the next key
is
the command. The shortcuts are tyoicall indicated by the letter at the
right
of the menu command. For example, on the ijx page pressing ctrl+/ then n
should open an ijs with a new temp file. Does this not work for you with
a
Finnish keyboard layout?

If it doesn't work, do you have any suggestions?

Not sure what you mean by: refresh the ijx window automatically? The ijx
page is transaction oriented. Enter a sentence and you see the result.
What
is it that you want?

Menu link to ijx (or shortcut ctrl+/ /) to see the complete log since
the
last jlog 0 (for example to see transactions done by another session).
Or do
jlog _ to see the entire log since J was started.
