Though, of course, I started back in the MDI days, and windows were literally labeled IJX and IJS :) To that point though, if we normalize terminology, it should be reflected in the frontends. In particular, I find the use of the window title "term" in GTK IDE confusing. It also makes ambiguity more likely, because jconsole, which is also still visible with GTK IDE, is a terminal (and, on Linux or Mac, might even be called "term"). For GTK IDE's editor specifically, I think "the script editor" is fine, because it can contain multiple IJS tabs.
