j.exe and j.jar are not supported in J7. You can run the new J701 JE in your J602 environment as follows:
1. J602 JAL to get the latest 602 stdlib (these updates will allow you to run j602 pacman from the J7 Je) 2. manually copy the j.dll from J701 install to your J602 folder.
