LC_CTYPE="sv_SE.iso8859i" also tried LC_CTYPE="sv_SE"
The files were transfered from Windows PC to Linux PC by storing them over a samba share. In Samba character set = ISO8859-1. I also noticed that clearing and rescanning the music directory does not make the files appear again. Not even shortly as they do initially upon the first scan.
