Well, I am now sure it is the combination iTunes and slimserver. Can anyone try the same?
- Play your music (I have all in ACC) with your squeezebox. - Open activity monitor and monitor. - Open iTunes and update your podcast. Is 'perl' taking much CPU time now (60% or higher)? - Quit iTunes and stop your squeezebox from playing. - 'Perl' keep up asking CPU time. - Wait 5 minutes.
