Hey gbruzzo, I need your help.
I've been using slimserver for a while now and want to move to 6.5b to try the Nokia 770 skin. Problem is, I can't get 6.5b to work on my Linkstation. Slimserver 6.2.2 works fine but when I try 6.5b I get the following: Can't locate auto/Compress/Zlib/autosplit.ix in @INC (@INC contains: /mnt/slimse rver/CPAN/arch/5.8.5/ppc-linux /mnt/slimserver/CPAN/arch/5.8.5/ppc-linux/auto /m nt/slimserver/CPAN/arch/5.8/ppc-linux /mnt/slimserver/CPAN/arch/5.8/ppc-linux/au to /mnt/slimserver/CPAN/arch/ppc-linux /mnt/slimserver/lib /mnt/slimserver/CPAN /mnt/slimserver /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.5/ppc-linux /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.5 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/ppc-linux /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5. 8.5 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.5/AutoLoader.p m line 160. at /mnt/slimserver/CPAN/Compress/Zlib.pm line 15 The following modules failed to load: DBD::SQLite DBI XML::Parser HTML::Parser C ompress::Zlib To download and compile them, please run: /mnt/slimserver/Bin/build-perl-modules I'm guessing the 6.5b doesn't have some binaries for the linkstation's ppc architecture. I tried deleting DBI.pm, but that didn't help. Can you describe how you got it working. Are you using the old non-gigabit ppc linkstation like me? Are you using the standard hacked linkstation firmware (v1.46)? Your help is appreciated.
