I just upgraded my Slimserver from 6.2.1 to a recent 6.2 snapshot (6.2.2 - 6523), which brought my SB2 from fw 28 to fw 35.
After which, my SB2 was unable to play more than a couple of seconds of a FLAC song before stuttering severely and eventually just stopping. The majority of my library is in FLAC, but I do have a couple of MP3s. The SB2 was still able to play a (160kbit/s) MP3 without apparent problems. Clearly, though, it was having difficulty streaming the much-higher bandwidth FLAC files. I downgraded the firmware to 28 (but retaining the rest of 6.2.2-6523 on the server side) and the SB2 works correctly again. Description of the symptom * Does it happen immediately upon playing?
