Physically unplugging the power connection to the SB3 device and restarting it seems to work. There are no network problems in my home, as a laptop, 2 tivo's and my Macintosh all of which are connected wirelessly perform flawlessly.
I will try to ping when the SB3 freezes up once more and let you guys know. I did not have the problem with the stock firmware, the problem started showing up only when I moved to 6.5b1 which prompted the SB3 device to also upgrade to 35. Is there a mechanism to move back to the old firmware? I don't want to go through the install of a couple of plugins which I have installed for this build of the server build.
