Re pings - can you ping the player normally? [I can't see how lack of pings can be fixed by restarting the server process - just want to confirm what is going on here]
I think there is more than one issue here and we need to be sure to separate them. If pings normally work and then stop, this should have no relationship to the slimserver process as it relies on the network, server OS and player.
