What I found with firmware 45 is that if you were previously using
DHCP, it doesn't appear to be possible to change that setting by going
back through the setup. I got into setup, right-keyed through the old
WPA key and it connected to the wireless network. But it failed to
then give me the option of entering my IP address or select DHCP.
I can't reproduce this problem at all. Once the wireless is connected, i'm prompted to choose DHCP. Is it possible you are hitting RIGHT and skipping past the choice?

Another, much nastier issue is a malloc error.

To see if I could figure out the above problem I figured I'd see what
happens if I enter a bogus key, then reenter my old (63 character) WPA
key. Every time I get to about the half-way point in the key I get a
malloc error, then the SB reboots. It appears that this bug has been
around since at least firmware 33.

I'll figure it out later when I have more time to play with it. The
device seems to remember the one character bogus key I entered, so
maybe if I try entering 20 characters at a time I can enter the key
piece by piece.
I'm having trouble reproducing this as well. can you give some more specific details what keys you press to trigger the crash?

Also, has a bug been filed on this?
