Put all the tracks into one album folder, and it will work.
Well, they don't belong there (in my opinion;). And it would be a lot
of work to sort them back. Still I would like to be able to access the
informations of my musik collection based on the source album. The
sorting/grouping for every other tag (Date, Artist, ...) is working the
same way and showing all files, that match the criteria regardless of
the file location. Why should it be different for the album?
Because we have a number of competing criteria (ie: users). We handle
multi-disc albums, and "Greatest Hits" albums properly. We also do
ALBUMARTIST and Compilation albums. I can't think of any other software, fb2k
included that does all of this in a browsable hierarchical fashion.
If you don't want that album duplicated, please put all the tracks in the
same directory.
