I haven't been running any anti-virus since shortly before my upgrade to 6.5... I've been seeing this crash periodically since then, without much rhyme or reason, so I'm positive that there is a related condition separate from virus scanning. Is it possible that scanning or running a random mix or playing to multiple players can sometime cause independent access to MySQL in a way that causes a desire to create or modify the file from different processes?
No clue what I'm talking about, aside from my earnest belief that this is an error outside just the virus-scanning case. I haven't had any other temp file issues with any other applications or processes on my machine, and things generally work pretty well with slimserver, too, which leads me to believe there's some contention or architecture bug somewhere. If it helps, here's my current info... I started with 6.5.0 and have gone through maybe 10-15 nightlies since then... overall, loving it, in particular the new take on doing everything with album art: VERSION INFO SlimServer Version: 6.5.1 - 10622 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252 Server IP address: 192.168.10.69 Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt -- vacaboca ------------------------------------------------------------------------ vacaboca's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2715 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29531 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
