The 2007-08-24 nightly didn't work for me the tar.gz package only contained a single file in the HTML/Default directory. But I downloaded the svn version and got it to work.
Some spontaneous comments: - I like the colors, more fun than the default skin and a lot easier on the eyes compared to the fishbone skin. - Too little information can be shown even though you have a quite large browser window, the default skin or fishbone show a lot more characters. One problem is that the margins are unnecessary large. - I'm not sure I like that the text is larger on the marked item. The result is that lines wrap when you move the mouse in the lists which means that rows jump up and down while you move the mouse. - The menus on the home page seems a bit useless to me. I mostly like to use my own music, so the extra click to get into "My Music" could get irritating. The optimal solution would be if you somehow could select which browse items to show on the first page, but I realize that this will result in more changes than just a skin. - In the "Albums" menu I think it would be better if the title on albums without album art was aligned with the title of albums with album art. - The whole highlighted area should be clickable, at the moment only the text in the middle is clickable. The result is that I thought it missed mouse clicks for a while until I realized that I had to click on the text and not just below or above it. The overall feeling is good, so I feel that with some adjustments this could be a good replacement for the default skin. By the way, I really love the new setup wizard.
