Just a few really quick (and ill-researched comments): 1) With the introduction of My Music, the number of clicks from the front page to my albums or artists has gone up by one, plus an irritating page load. SlimServer is all (and only!) about My Music - I really don't think this should have been pushed down a level!
2) Please, please, please can we have a quick search straight from the front page (I've already got an old bug filed on this one). Some equivalent to the Firefox Google search bar would be great. I just want to be able to enter a term and have it searched for as a song/artist/album, with advanced search links available from the results page. 3) Clicking Server Settings currently opens a new window. I assume that's not deliberate, but if it is, please don't! As far as I'm concerned, opening new windows is so last century (darling)! ;-) As I've said before, it does look good. However, right now I think I'd lean towards using Classic as my default skin, purely because Classic puts the stuff I want on the front page. Actually, I think that's worth re-iterating. The most important thing to be on the front page is surely the stuff that gets you to your music. Everything else is just eye candy. The Classic skin sure ain't pretty, but it sure is functional (albeit possibly bewildering to a newcomer). Pushing Internet Radio, Settings and Help to a sub-page is probably a good thing, but please consider leaving at least some of the Browse items on the front. Max -- max.spicer What do we want?
