I guess that you do not yet have the sync changes for SoftSqueeze, as they have not been checked-in yet, so it will be getting resync-instructions that it does not act on. Also, my own measurments suggest that PC sound cards can drift at around 1ms/s, whereas an SB3 seems to manage 1ms/minute, or better.
I could suggest some other tricks but it would be better to wait for the SoftSqueeze patches first.
