I have just comitted a change to add setting of synchronization preferences via the Web-UI. I have also slightly edited the documentation post a couple of entries earlier in this thread to reflect the latest reality.
Be warned, however, that if it is decided to change from using seconds to milliseconds (see 39317) then this will have an impact on any saved preferences.
