I took delivery on an iPod Touch today. It may be the wackiest impulse
purchase I've ever made. Anyway, it's here now. I should have done my
homework better. I can't believe that it won't play streaming music!
Also, lack of 1). email app, 2). microphone, 3). speaker, 4).
bluetooth, etc. are very disappointing. Despite wifi capability, don't
expect the iPod Touch to be much of anything other than an iPod. (Until
someone jailbreaks the sucker, that is.) As it stands, it's definitely
NOT a "phoneless-iPhone."

Are the the version 7 developers interested in feedback as to how the
various skins render on Safari on the iPod Touch? I was hoping that
the Safari/Touch combo would be a superior web interface remote for
Slimserver than the N800/Opera/Nokia770 skin combo. No such luck.
Safari-on-the-touch seems to have problems with AJAXed content. So
far, with all the Slimserver skins, Safari's top "page loading" header
never seems to go away as it does after loading most other web content.
This wastes about 25% of the usable screen.
